These range from brief to intensive intervention programmes that optimise psychological and physical health outcomes and use of public resources.
Our multi-component Momenta adult weight management service supports people to lose weight in a safe and sustainable way. It has been developed by our expert team and maps to NICE guidance and other relevant frameworks.
- Dr Paul Chadwick
Dr Chadwick is a Consultant Clinical and Health Psychologist specialising in behaviour change and its application to health and wellbeing. He has been at the forefront of promoting eivdence-based approaches to behaviour change in the UK and internationally for the last fifteen years, and is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the internationally renowned Centre for Behaviour Change at University College London.
As the co-founder of MEND he was responsible for the development of the world’s largest and well evaluated suite of child obesity intervention programmes and his principal interest lies with realising the potential of behavioural science to address global problems affecting health and wellbeing. Dr. Chadwick remains a practicing clinical psychologist and works with individuals with and affected by Diabetes at the award winning Camden Diabetes Integrated Practice Unit and Royal Free Hampstead NHS Trust.
- Martin Fallon
Martin is Managing Director of Reed in Partnership. He joined the Reed Group in 1989 as a Regional Manager. He went on to do a number of sales and operational roles before joining Reed in Partnership in 2004 as Operations Director. He became Managing Director in 2014.
- Harry MacMillan
Harry has worked in public health since 2003, focused on the UK and North America. He was CEO of MEND Central, where he worked with a team of child health specialists on child weight management programmes internationally. In 2013 Harry co-founded Discover Momenta Ltd, focused on adult weight management, wellbeing and diabetes prevention, and Healthy Weight Partnership, Inc., the exclusive licensor of MEND programmes in North America, of which he is Managing Director. Since 2008 Harry has been Chair of MEND Foundation, a US non-profit focused on addressing child obesity, which is a board member of the National Coalition for Promoting Physical Activity, and is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Public Health.
- Rhodri Thomas
Rhodri manages the Business Development team, developing and implementing a business growth strategy. He is also responsible for overseeing marketing and communications activities that Reed Momenta undertakes.
- Donna Murrell
Donna has been with Reed in Partnership since 2003 and brings 12 years of public service experience to the Board. As Reed in Partnership’s Operations Director she is responsible for driving performance across our range of services, supply chain management and stakeholder relationships.
- Lisa Taylor
With over 25 years’ experience in public and private health, fitness and leisure management, Lisa co-founded Discover Momenta Ltd, focused on adult weight management, wellbeing and diabetes prevention in 2013. She was previously Strategic Partnership Director at the social enterprise MEND Central, where she conceived and implemented Momenta, MENDs first adult programme. Additionally she created More Active Health, a six-week behaviour change healthy lifestyle programme approved by the Department of Health.
Before joining MEND Lisa established a distinguished track record in leisure management, recognised as one of the industry’s foremost retention specialists. She was awarded the first FitPro Industry Professional Award of 2007 whilst in her role as fitness director for Places for People the UK’s largest operator of public sector leisure facilities.
